Hearthfire Completes Major 53,165 SF Expansion at N Fail Rd Self Storage

Hearthfire Holdings is pleased to announce the opening of a newly developed Class-A self-storage facility in Romulus, Michigan, following receipt of the final Certificate of Occupancy on December 3, 2025, for 37270 Northline Road, Romulus, MI.

Project Overview

  • Total Property: 475 units | ~48,800 NRSF
  • Development Budget: $8.8M
  • Construction Timeline: Sept 2024 → Aug 2025

The issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy formally authorizes the facility for occupancy and operations, marking the transition from development delivery into operational execution.

Operator Transition

The facility is now onboarding with CubeSmart, which will oversee leasing, marketing, revenue management, and store-level operations.
