Hearthfire Holdings Adds Henry Metcalf, Director of Acquisitions, to its Leadership Team

Fast-growing private equity company specializing in real estate self storage assets with high-growth potential continues to add team depth with Director of Acquisitions, Henry Metcalf.

West Chester, PA, April 5, 2023 – Hearthfire Holdings, a private equity firm specializing in acquiring and operating self storage facilities, has added Henry Metcalf to their leadership team. Mr. Metcalf has previous experience with Extra Space Storage and Leitbox Storage Partners. Before his time in storage, Mr. Metcalf led land acquisition efforts for the largest homebuilder in Utah – Ivory Homes.

Most recently, Mr. Metcalf served as Investment Director for Leitbox Storage Partners. In that capacity, he conducted analysis of self storage acquisitions and development opportunities across the US; actively managing 30+ projects while also issuing 10+ LOIs/Joint Venture Agreements monthly.

Prior to that, in his time with Extra Space Storage, Mr. Metcalf led underwriting efforts on 2,000+ potential self storage facilities – existing and new development.

Also in his career, Mr. Metcalf led land acquisition and development for Ivory Homes – working alongside the land development team to move each project successfully through their lifecycle from initial bid to final approvals.

Mr. Metcalf has a Master’s of Real Estate Development from the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah, and Bachelor of Finance from University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mr. Metcalf joins a Hearthfire leadership team that includes Co-Founders Sergio and Corinn Altomare, and COO Michael Baillargeon at Hearthfire’s corporate offices in West Chester, PA.
